Current Status of Amida

We are developing the following features. If you have any ideas to improve Amida, please let us know.

• "Run with Amida-Agent" configuration for Eclipse.
• An improved viewer.

  We would like to enable a developer to save/load the state of Amida Viewer. We also have several plans to improve the viewer.

2008-11-19

• Implemented phase detection in Java. Amida no longer needs ActivePerl.
• The number of objects and events in a diagram are indicated in the bottom of the diagram.

2008-10-02

• Added [Apply dominance analysis] menu to filter local objects out from sequence diagrams.

2008-08-29

• Added amida-agent.jar, that is a new profiler using Javassist bytecode-transformation framework.

  The new version is much faster than the previous JVMTI implementation for Windows, and can work with different platforms.

2008-07-11

• This is the first release of Amida.
