Short Bio

In 1998, I was awarded the Australian (AusAid) scholarship to complete my secondary education in Queensland, Australia. After receiving the top 2% ranking, I was offered entry into Griffith University advanced studies program. In Jan 2004, I became an IT Intwern at Conservation International , based in Washington, DC. I returned to Papua New Guinea in August 2005 and worked with the local ISP Daltron Electronics Limited. In 2006, I started Kuga Consultancy, which provides IT consulting services to Post PNG, Conservation International Melanesia, and other smaller projects.

In 2007, was awarded the Japanese Government MONBUKAGAKUSHO:MEXT scholarship. I obtained my masteral and doctoral degree in Engineering at Nara Institute of Science and technology in Nara, Japan. During my postgraduate studies, I collaborated with international students and our team was awarded the second place in Creative and International Competitiveness Project (CICP) 2009. I also had the opportunity to intern for 4 months at Toshiba Software Engineering Research Center.

I am currently with Software Engineering Laboratory, Osaka University as a Project Assistant Professor (Specially Appointed Assitant Professor) for the SARF Project.

I am a member of the IEEE, ACM, Papua New Guinea IT Cluster and Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet (PICISOC) Societies.
